In identifying projects for the future work programme, we prioritise projects against the following criteria:

  1. Helping to deliver Cornwall Council’s identified budget saving
  2. Direct community benefit by helping a service to continue that would otherwise cease or significantly reduce
  3. Enhancing a service / asset  and / or addressing a significant maintenance backlog e.g. through a bid for external funding
  4. Indirect community benefit e.g. local pride, local sponsorship, increased volunteering opportunities, supporting local contractors / suppliers

If you have any query on any devolution project, in the first instance please speak to your Community Link Officer.
