24 Hour Emergency Numbers

The following is a list of numbers which you can call both during the working day and out of hours.  You can report or, in some cases, find out information about specific emergency issues.

Please remember, if there is a threat to life, please call 999 and ask for the relevant emergency response service.

Note: There might also be other emergency contact numbers issued in the event of a major emergency which could include:

  • Casualty Bureau – a number set up by the Police for gathering information about people involved in an incident
  • A number may be set up by Cornwall Council, when a rest centre has opened i.e. if people have been evacuated from their home for more than 24hrs.
  • A number set up by local voluntary organisations. People can offer help to those who may need it following an emergency such as flooding i.e. many people offer food, blankets, accommodation, etc
