Bee Mindful in Tolvaddon

About the Bee Mindful walk in Tolvaddon

Distance: 1.3 miles / 2.1 km

Tolvaddon is home to the Tuckingmill Valley, which has been transformed from the most visible derelict land site in West Cornwall into an award winning park. The site is situated in the heart of Camborne and Redruth and has become a symbol of regeneration for the area.

Find out more about the history of Tuckingmill Valley Park.

The map below shows the route of the Bee Mindful walk. Parking is displayed on the map along with some other information and landmarks which can be seen on the walk.

We have started the directions from the car park adjacent to Service Headquarters in Tolvaddon, but you can start your walk from any point on the map.

We have marked out some recommended resting spots and the rough location of the Bee Mindful Quest container which contains the treasure and log book - just keep your eyes peeled for a container disguised as a bird box!

The rules

If you find the treasure box, we just ask that you don’t move the container and report any problems with it to us by emailing us at beemindful@fire.cornwall.gov.uk

If you wish, go ahead and take something from the box but please also leave something of equal or greater value for others to find and write it in the log book. We’d love to know that you’ve found it, by visiting our Facebook group too at: www.facebook.com/groups/beemindful and sharing a photo of your find.

The Bee Mindful treasure box and log book are marked with a pin symbol on the map above to show the rough location on the map. We have provided a hint to help you find the location at the bottom of this page. We hope you find it!
