Personal Qualities and Attributes Interview

The interview will be conducted with a minimum of two people, who will take it in turns to ask you questions about your experience. It will last approximately 1 hour and the main aim is to gather examples of when and how you have used skills that are important for potential firefighters.

The interviewers will assess your answers against the National Fire and Rescue Service Personal Qualities and Attributes (PQA) Framework. The PQAs required for an Operational Firefighter are:

At the interview, you will be required to take your ID documents for any Pre-employment checks.
