Messages from The Queen

Congratulatory messages from The Queen need to be applied for. Messages can be sought for 100th, 105th birthdays and every year thereafter.

To arrange for a message for someone, please forward their details to Buckingham Palace.

Alternatively, you can download a printable application form and post to the address shown on the form.

The form should not be sent until three weeks before the celebration date. It is also possible to receive a belated message up to six months after the event. 

There is no charge for such messages.

Please note that certain documentary evidence will need to be provided such as copy of the birth certificate.

It is The Queen’s custom to only send messages to citizens of one of Her Realms or UK Overseas Territories. Those born overseas, or who currently live abroad, must provide evidence of their British nationality such as a British Passport.
