Declaration of interest for councillors
All Members of the Council have to complete a declaration of interest form to register their financial interests. They have to do this by law.
These include:
- details of any employment or business carried out by them;
- the name of their employer;
- details of any Directorships;
- contracts between themselves/their firm and the Council;
- interests in land in the area.
The public can view each Councillor's interests on our website. The information page for each Councillor has a link to view all interests.

Which interests to declare are set out in the Council Constitution. The Constitution also sets out the Members' code of conduct.
Senior officers' salaries
Information on senior officer's salaries is on our website. There is also information on any expenses they have claimed. We also publish details of gifts and hospitality.
