Volunteering with the Council
Every year many hundreds of people volunteer to work with Cornwall Council. Volunteering can be a great way to gain experience, meet people and contribute to services which will make a real difference to Cornwall and its communities
We have opportunities to volunteer in a wide range of services and activities from hedgelaying to helping out in schools and in locations throughout Cornwall.
Our Volunteering with Cornwall Council policy recognises the valuable contribution of our volunteers and provides consistent standards for volunteering opportunities with Cornwall Council.
Our Volunteer Handbook provides a useful guide to volunteering with the Council and practical information to help you in your role.
There is separate guidance for community groups wishing to undertake volunteering activities.
