About our website

The website is under constant review, we are developing and improving all the time, adding new features to make it easier for you to find the information you are looking for.

On each web page there is a before you leave online feedback form where you can let us know if you couldn't find something that you were looking for.

Within this section you can find information about our website by selecting the relevant link from the left hand menu.

We have made some improvements to the navigation of the website so that now when you select a specific area you only see the pages within that section.  We hope that this now makes the website easier to navigate.  Once you are within a section you can go back to previous pages either by selecting the back button in your browser or by using the page path at the top of the page.  The page path shows all of the previous pages which have been selected before landing on the current page.

There are two main ways that you can find information on the website besides using the websites navigation.  Firstly you can use the search which is powered by google and is located at the top of every page.  We have also added top level searches to the website which is where the most commonly viewed pages for certain topics are suggested at the top of the search results.  If you have searched for something in particular and you are unable to find the information you are looking for please let us know by completing the before you leave form.

Unfortunately, if you have tried to search for a planning application using the main search no results will be displayed as the planning applications are held on a different system.  Help with searching for planning applications can be found on the troubleshooting page.

Another way to find information on the website is by using the A-Z. An A-Z of services is located on every page across the site and when a chosen letter is selected service descriptions, service deliverers and contact numbers are displayed.
