His experience includes assisting in the migration of Brannel School’s computer network from its old school to its new build. He then went on to manage the network for a further five years. During that time he gained valuable experience in managing and maintaining the school’s SIMS system.

She aims to use her knowledge to help ‘troubleshoot’ immediate issues and to train and encourage schools to make the full use of SIMS, in order to develop systems that will streamline processes and deliver powerful data for School Leaders.

“I am a bit of a puzzle solver and really enjoy this aspect of my role. SIMS can be a real challenge: it is constantly evolving to keep abreast of the changing needs of its users, so this keeps me on my toes! Most of all, I really enjoy ‘spreading the word’ – getting out there, meeting our customers and ensuring they are getting the most out of their SLA, and out of SIMS.”
