Vernacular Cornish farm buildings are such an intrinsic part of our historic settlements and landscapes making it locally distinctive that we must seek to preserve them.  Many of these buildings can accommodate creative new uses without resulting in the needless destruction of their essential characteristics, English Heritage guidance to good practice regarding conversion of traditional farm buildings is available on the HELM website;
