The CIoSLNP is a partnership tasked to achieve environmental growth in Cornwall and Scilly. We are also tasked to meet the challenge of the ecological emergency.  We are now recruiting two additional members to strengthen the capacity of the board. 

We are looking for one board member who can offer skills, experience and knowledge of farming and land management. We are also seeking another board member who has a strong academic background in a relevant discipline.

Both roles are voluntary, and unpaid.  Board members would need to allocate between 6-12 days per year to the work of the partnership. This includes attending meetings and carrying out supporting work.  Board meetings are 6 weekly. Two annual meetings are physical and the others virtual.

The board is a dynamic informed forum making better connections between evidence and decisions. This is to improve environmental, natural and wellbeing outcomes.  The CIoSLNP is now taking on an even greater importance. This is in line with the new Government legislation contained in the Agriculture, Fisheries and Environment Bills.

The term of appointment is three years, with the possibility of serving two terms.
