Address Management - street naming and numbering

In order for Cornwall Council ‘s Address Management Team to be effective and consistent with their addressing standard, they work within the boundaries of the BS7666 which is the national addressing guide set out by central government. Working alongside this, is a policy and guidance document that has been produced specific to Cornwall Council and addresses within Cornwall. The Address Management Team work within this guidance when creating or altering officially registered addresses. It is freely available for anyone to use and gives useful tips and advice when you need to apply to have an address, whether it is for a single dwelling, a business or a development of hundreds of properties.
