This site is visited by about 15,000 people a year.

Opening times:

Gwennap Pit is accessible at all times, but the Visitor Centre and Busveal Chapel are only open between Spring Bank Holiday Monday to September 30th at the following times:

• Mon to Fri - 10am to 4:30pm
• Sat - 10am to 1pm 
• and from 3pm each Sunday afternoon during services in the Pit
