Landulph Neighbourhood Development Plan

Landulph Neighbourhood Development plan is now formally made and can be used from 5 September 2018. This is part of the development plan in development management decisions in the Landulph Neighbourhood Plan Area. The made neighbourhood plan, report and decision notice are available to download below:

Landulph Neighbourhood Plan Referendum was held on the 8th August 2019.The plan was successful at referendum and the result was:

  • Number cast in favour of 'Yes': 201
  • Number cast in favour of 'No': 42

The Landulph Neighbourhood Development Plan was submitted to examination on 26th February 2019. The independent examiner appointed was Andrew Ashcroft. The final examination report was received by Cornwall Council on 28th March 2019.

An initial assessment of the neighbourhood plan, background evidence and representations was completed. Following this, the examiner raised a number of initial questions. The questions and response can be viewed below.

Landulph Parish Council has submitted their plan proposal to Cornwall Council for their designated Neighbourhood Development Plan Area, in accordance with the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended).

Cornwall Council is consulting residents and other interested stakeholders on the plan for the Landulph Parish area. The consultation ran for six weeks from Friday 11 January to 22 February 2019.

The plan proposal included a copy of a map and statement which identifies the area to which the proposed Neighbourhood Development Plan relates; a consultation statement; the proposed Neighbourhood Development Plan and a statement explaining how the proposed Neighbourhood Development Plan meets the requirements of paragraph 8 of Schedule 4B to the 1990 Act (the Basic Conditions Statement).

Copies of the documents were  available to view through the Planning Register using planning number PA19/00002/NDP during the consultation period.

  • Cargreen Yacht Club, Coombe Lane, Cargreen, Saltash, Cornwall, PL12 6PB
  • Landulph Memorial Hall, Cargreen, Saltash, PL12 6NF
  • The Telephone Box Book Exchange , Cargreen, Saltash

Landulph Parish Council submitted an application and map. This was to designation their Neighbourhood Area on 16 March 2015. Cornwall Council consulted residents and other interested stakeholders on the designation. The consultation was between 3 April and 15 May 2015. Documents were made available to view during the six week consultation period. These were available from Saltash Library and One Stop Shop. The documents available were copies of:

  • the application letter
  • a statement that explains how the Parish Council and Neighbourhood Area met the conditions of Section 61G(2) of the Town And Country Planning Act 1990
