Plan Proposal Statutory Consultation - PA21/00005/NDP
Menheniot Parish Council have submitted their Neighbourhood Plan to Cornwall Council. This was for their designated Neighbourhood Development Plan Area. Under the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended).
Cornwall Council is consulting on the plan for the Menheniot Parish area with:
- residents
- other interested stakeholders
The Consultation will run between Thursday 28 January until the 8 of April 2021. This is for an extended ten-week period. The statutory consultation has been adapted due to the national Covid-19 crisis. It takes into consideration the latest Planning Guidance. The guidance is from The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.
You can comment by emailing neighbourhoodplanning@cornwall.gov.uk. You can also search for PA21/00005/NDP on the online planning register.
The plan proposal includes a copy of a map and statement. This identifies the area where the proposed Neighbourhood Development Plan relates to.

- a statement explaining how the proposed Neighbourhood Development Plan meets the requirements of paragraph 8 of Schedule 4B to the 1990 Act. (The Basic Conditions Statement)

- a community actions appendix

Neighbourhood Area Designation
Menheniot Parish Council submitted an application and map to designation their Neighbourhood Area. This was submitted on 27 November 2013. Cornwall Council consulted residents and other interested stakeholders on the designation. The consultation ran between 6 December and 17 January 2014. Copies of the application letter and statement were made available to view during the six week consultation period. The statement explains how the Parish Council and Neighbourhood Area met the conditions of Section 61G(2) of the Town And Country Planning Act 1990.
