Hayle Town Council and Cornwall Council have prepeared a concept plan that focuses on an area south of Hayle, taking a proactive approach to how it believes development in this area should come forward.

Following a public consultation (29 June to 10 August 2020), Hayle Town Councnil reviewed a summary of the consultation comments and amendments.  They endorsed the Concept Plan at their meeting on 17 September 2020.

Cornwall Council adopted the Concept Plan on 19 October 2020 as planning guidance to inform planning applications for the site.

The development of this concept plan has involved Town Councillors, landowners, residents and Cornwall Council and has been amended to reflect feedback received during two public consultations.
