Improving Energy Efficiency in Historic Cornish Buildings

As part of the Heritage Led Regeneration Project 'Camborne, Roskear and Tuckingmill Townscape Heritage Initiatives',  guidance has been produced on good practice in upgrading the energy efficiency of historic buildings.

The guide provides local examples of good practice along with current costs and performance details of suitable products.

It is intended to be used by local authority staff, building owners, professional agents and contractors at an early stage in the planning process and before Building Control applications.

This guide was approved by Cornwall Council as a material consideration for land use planning purposes in June 2014.
