Penryn Townscape Heritage Initiative

The Penryn Townscape Heritage Initiative (Penryn THI) provided financial help to encourage the conservation and enhancement of key historic buildings and street features in the Penryn Conservation Area. The Penryn THI came to an end in July 2008. An interim report, produced in November 2007, provided details of the outputs proposed and achieved to date.

A more detailed final report, completed in 2008 provides detailed information on the economic outputs, jobs created, businesses aided and dramatic changes achieved. The Penryn THI was administered by Carrick District Council and funded by Heritage Lottery Fund, Objective One (ERDF), Carrick District Council, the South West Regional Development Agency and Cornwall Council.

No further grants from this source of funding are available for this area now.
