Beach Cleaning

We are responsible for the cleansing of many beaches across Cornwall. We only clean beaches that we own or that are privately leased through the Council.

We prioritise the beaches depending on their location, usage and time of year.

They are cleansed by the contractor, Biffa Municipal Services Ltd. We set the standards they are cleaned to. These standards use Cleanliness National Indicators by Defra.
