Cornwall Council operates Short Breaks and Residential Services across the County. Referrals to these homes are presented by the Social Worker to the Short Breaks Panel which meets monthly. Cornwall's short break statement is for families living in Cornwall who have a disabled child or young person aged 0-18 years. It sets out Cornwall Council’s vision of short break services and simply states who can access a short break and how. For some short breaks we may need to assess your child and family to ensure that we provide the right level of support and short break services. Information about short break opportunities can be found in Cornwall’s Local Offer or the Family Information Service.

If you have any difficulty downloading it, you can request a paper copy by contacting the Family Information Service on 0800 587 8191 or 01872 323535.

Reports for each home can be found on the Ofsted website and entering the Unique Reference Number (URN) for the home.
