There is now single point of contact to request additional staffing required urgently as a result of Covid, where your needs cannot be met through your usual routes.

Cornwall Hospice Care and Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust have produced updated guidance on Verification of Death by a Registered Nurse. This is for use during the Covid-19 pandemic only. This guidance is to support those that have already received Verification of Death (VOD) training.
Cornwall Bereavement Network
Bereavement services in Cornwall have come together with the aim of making it easier for those people who have experienced the death of a loved one to find support. Cornwall Bereavement Network is available to ensure people can easily access support
Alternatively, two telephone numbers are available.
- For emotional support the telephone number for Cornwall Hospice Care is 01726 829874 10am to 6pm Monday to Sunday
- For support with the process and practicalities people may have to cope with following a bereavement please contact 01872 252713 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday
