Most local campaigns are run by our Healthy Cornwall service. They are out working in our local communities every day. You can find out more about what Healthy Cornwall is doing in your area. They can provide free, friendly advice on what opportunities are available:

There are also a number of national campaigns and resources available from Public Health England. These include:

  • Change4Life (healthy weight)
  • Stay Well This Winter (keeping people safe, well and warm in winter)

Public Health Cornwall also develop specific campaigns in response to identified local health and wellbeing priorities. Please use the links below to find materials produced by the team:

  • Central Heating Fund. Cornwall Council secured central government funding of £1.3m to be spent installing brand new central heating in homes that needed it.... now replaced by the Warm and Well Cornwall fund.
  • Don't Flush Your Life Away.  Men are more likely to take their own life than women. Our campaign (designed to get attention while in a toilet) is letting men people care about them, and it's OK to talk about how they feel.
  • Free NHS Health Checks. Working together to improve your health

  • How Are You Really Feeling. Ask a friend how they are really feeling, ask twice, don't just accept OK or fine, take time to probe and listen. Information on advice on how to help yourself or someone you know.
