Real Heroes Read Books

Reading is a superpower.  One that can take your children anywhere, making a difference to their lives and helping their imaginations to thrive.

But we know that it’s not easy. Whether it’s finding the time to read together, or it’s just hard to get your little one interested in a good book, reading can feel like a bit of a slog.

That’s why we’re on hand. We have a host of tips, tricks and activities to help to get your little one to fall in love with reading and show them that Real Heroes Read Books.

Over the coming weeks during the Coronavirus lockdown, we have some exciting bedtime stories. These are read by council staff, teachers and members of the community.  The bedtime stories will feature some well known tales as well as giving a platform for Cornish writers to share their work.

Select the categories below to find out everything that’ll be going on throughout the campaign and make sure you check in on our social media. Also, why not join your local library.
