The Local Government Association (LGA) has produced

It explains the process for employers to follow. It applies where an employee (aged 55 or over) exits under redundancy and efficiency. This applies from 4th November 2020.

Due to the latest Government advice, some of our staff are self-isolating and/or working from home. So, we are currently operating a reduced service. We will endeavour to answer your queries as soon as possible.

Employers are aware of their responsibilities under the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS)

  • The Administering Authority are aware of their responsibilities under the LGPS
  • Delivery of a high quality and cost effective administration service

Matt Allen is the Cornwall Pension Fund Employer Liaison Officer. Matt helps to build and maintain good working relationships with the Fund's employers. This includes providing training, advice, guidance and support if requested.

The Employer Liaison Officer is the first point of contact for employers. Where necessary, he liaises with others within the team to resolve any queries.
