Proud to Care Cornwall

The role of care workers in our communities could not be more vital than it is today.

Care workers provide an essential service. They visit people in their homes to help them remain independent. They also support them in residential homes. Each carer’s contribution is invaluable to helping others live their lives.  As a care worker the small things that you do could help make a big difference to someone’s life.

That is why Proud to Care was launched.  To tell people about how rewarding a career in social care and health can be.

In November 2020 a new Cornwall recruitment campaign was launched 'Cornwall needs you now'. This is a joint campaign with:

  • adult social care providers
  • Cornwall Council
  • health

All working together to encourage people to apply for jobs across the social care and health sector in Cornwall.

If you know what type of role you want visit the Proud to Care Cornwall website to view vacancies and apply.

Our new Care Recruitment Triage Team

If you are unsure of the best role for you, give our Care Recruitment Triage Team a call on 01872 229977.  The line is open 9am to 9pm, 7 days a week.  You will be able to speak to someone currently working in social care and health.  This will help you to undertand more about:

  • what it is like to work in the sector
  • the opportunities available and
  • to help you find your ideal job match
