Car parks are free from Saturday 16 of January 2021 until the end of the current full lockdown period
Government advice urges residents to stay at home, and to support essential workers.
During this critical time we want to make it as easy as possible for essential workers to get to and from work. To support them we have removed parking charges.
You do not need to make payment in any Cornwall Council Pay & Display or pay on foot car park until the end of the current full lockdown.
It is really important to: park considerately, and continue to follow government guidance about avoiding any unnecessary travel, & follow the car park rules shown on the tariff boards. 
Do not park in reserved car parks if you do not have a permit.
If you are applying for a disabled exemption you should still submit an application as normal and we will process them as soon as it is possible.

On 1 December 2020 we introduced the new ZatPermit online system.  There have been changes to the way in which tickets can be used and times for the Parking Permit team processing them.

• register for the Disabled Parking Exemption Scheme

Disabled Parking Exemption Scheme - you must contact us in advance of when you wish to park.  Registration for the scheme requires approval. The Permit team must have a copy of your V5C vehicle registration document before they can call to complete registration for this. Reserved permits and Resident permits can only be purchased through our Permit team.

We will contact you as soon as possible but in very busy times this may be 5 days or more. It can take at least 10 days to issue your parking ticket or permit.

When we ring you you will need:

• your credit/debit card payment details 
• the vehicle registration number - please ensure you have the correct registration as there will be a £10 fee to change it if its not
