Residents' parking schemes
Residents and visitors can park in time restricted limited waiting bays which are usually not available for resident parking, please ensure a valid residents permit is displayed. Please submit applications for new or expired permits as normal.
V5C (vehicle log book) information - There may be delays in the arrival of valid V5C certificates. We need will need these for approval of various permits. Please still submit them if you have them. We will put in place temporary measures for approval of tickets without them.
Please note; As soon as delivery is back to normal you will be required to submit a valid V5C for your tickets to remain valid.It is your responsibility to only apply for a permit you are eligible.If the application requires a valid V5C that cannot be provided when requested, we will cancel your permit without refund.
Please be aware that Information Services (formally One Stop Shops) are currently unable to take payments.
They are also not able to forward documents in the mail. All permit applications and the required proof can be posted to the address provided on the application form or scanned/emailed to our mailbox: email@example.com

If they do, you can apply to us to register your staff to use our mobile phone system to park whilst carrying out care duties. Care Organisations do have to meet an eligibility criteria for approval for this.

Can my visitors park?
The majority of permit types also allow the holder to apply for parking for visitors as well. You will be able to see on the the individual permit application forms if visitor permits are available with it, and how to apply.
Visitor permits are available to purchase in two forms.
- sets of ten daily electronic visitor permits costing £10. These can be purchased by you directly using our pay by phone system. They are electronic so you will not receive a paper permit. You do first need to register with us for an account . After that you can simply use your account to buy more so you will not need to wait for us to contact you.
- books of ten daily permits (paper scratchcards) costing £10. These are available from the Parking Permit team. They are posted to you to display in the vehicle
You can buy a selection of either option, but you can only buy the maximum total that you are allowed for your zone. Detail of the maximum visitor permit numbers are listed in the Resident parking scheme Terms and Conditions.
How can I apply for visitor permits?
The first time you apply (scratchcards and electronic sessions):
- Check the application form to see if you are entitled to visitor permits
- If you are, complete the form and send it to us with your payment or request a call back to pay by card.
Please note: if you are an eligible resident in a zone but don't have a full residents/resident disabled permit you can still purchase visitor permits. To do so you will need to apply by completing the application form and providing the necessary evidence.
Future visitor permit requests

However you will need to supply proof of residency again if you:
- do not have a full resident permit
- have not purchased visitor books in the last 3 months
To purchase more electronic visitor permits all you need to do is log into your account. You don't need to contact us.
How long will it take to get my permit?
When we receive your application form it usually takes around 10 days to process new permits, renewal permits and visitor permits. As such, please apply in advance of when they are needed. We cannot legally provide temporary permission for you to park in a zone until your current application has been approved even if you have had a permit before.
If you are newly moving in to the zone please contact us for advice if you need assistance with providing the necessary resident evidence documents we require.
It is your responsiblity to ensure you have a valid permit to park in the zone. It is also your responsibility to remember to renew it when it expires. To be fair to all our customers we process permits in the order they arrive in to the office. As such, we cannot meet requests made by calls/emails to prioritise applications.
