Planned Public Transport Service Disruptions

The list below shows the current known service disruptions for bus and rail services within Cornwall.

View all current and future planned roadworks that do not necessarily affect bus services. 

Road Closure - Maenporth, Falmouth

8 March to 6 April 2021

Due to resurfacing works Maenporth Road will be closed between the 8 March and the 6 April.  During the closure period Transport for Cornwall Service 67 will be be unable to serve the Maenporth Beach stop.

Weight Restriction - Boundary Road, Bodmin

15 March to 14 May 2021

Due to a weight restriction on Boundary Road between Bodmin Community Hospital entrance and the A389 Westheath Avenue, from the 15 March until the 14 May, Transport for Cornwall Services 10, 11A, 55 and 89 will operate under diversion.  All journeys on these services will divert in and out of the hospital via Dunmere Road and will not be able to serve their usual stops on Westheath Avenue.  Passengers are advised to use the main hospital stop or stops on Dunmere Road instead.

Overnight Road Closure - A392 Trevemper

22 March to 2 April 2021

Due to road works the A392 between Trevemper Road and the Treloggan Road Roundabout will be closed overnight from 1900 between the 22 March and 2 April.  First Kernow Service 87 and Transport for Cornwall Service 85 towards Newquay will divert via Trevemper Road, the boating lake and Treniinick Hill, Treloggan Road to the A392 roundabout where they will turn and resume their normal route.  From Newquay the reverse will operate.

Network Rail Maintenance

Disruptions on Great Western Railway (GWR) lines are available on the GWR journey check website. Disruptions on the wider rail network are available on the National Rail website.

From May, train timetables will only be available for 6 weeks instead of the usual 12 weeks. This is expected to be the case for 6 months and is due to engineering projects across the country. To find out more and to plan your journey, please visit the GWR website.
