Camborne - Pool - Redruth (East - West Link)
The Camborne Pool Illogan and Redruth East – West Link road was opened in November 2015. The link was delivered with funding from various partners including the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the Department for Transport and Cornwall Council and provides an east-west link road from Dolcoath to Dudnance Lane, across the Red River Valley.
It includes new junctions and cycle facilities on Dudnance Lane and Station Road, and a new link from Station Road to Wilson Way. The new road provides access to development areas and an alternate route to the existing A3047 which contributes to reduced congestion and improved air quality. The road forms part of a wider transport strategy for the Camborne Pool Illogan and Redruth area which includes the Redruth Strategic Growth Employment Package and the delivery of a comprehensive walking and cycling network.
