Threemilestone Roundabout Improvement
Prior to the commencement of the project, Threemilestone junction consisted of a major roundabout with a mini roundabout satellite on the entrance to Threemilestone. The North, South and Western approaches were single carriageways with the eastern approach a dual carriageway.
The Threemilestone roundabout was signalised with all four arms working on a full-time basis. The mini roundabout was replaced with a signalised junction and the existing Threemilestone industrial estate entrance was also signalised too.
The roundabout was completed and fully open to the public at the end of August 2017
